Who is able and willing to swap a button on Mach3turn for me?
« on: November 18, 2007, 04:49:10 AM »
Hi All,

Have found a good setup for my Lathe in combination with programming  via my Cadcam;  but unfortunately in the Mach3-Turn Jog-screen, the  Xjog buttons are not in the right place for me.

In critical situations i find it extremely hard to find the right button, because my fisical direction is is just opposit of the button location on the Jog-screen.

Because i am a absolute Nono in Pc-programming my Question:

Is there someone able and willing to change the Mach3-Turn  Jog-screen for me ?

Would be really fantastic if somebody could  build  a screen for me where he puts the  JogX++ on top. and the  JogX--in bottom location.

Big Thanks

What screen are you using? Is it the pop out part of the screen (when tab is pressed) that you are wanting changed?

No problem, easy enough to do.
Give it a go yourself sometime, just open the screenset up in screen4 and have a mess about with it, just make sure you save it as something other than the standard screen so that when  you update Mach it wont get overwritten.

Cannot find  Screen4,  all i can find is:

Manual screen, Auto screen, Auto screen-cycle, Tool Table screen, Diags Screen, and the Tab-Popup Jog screen.

Ágain, You have made my (cnc) life, so much easier..

Screen4.exe is in the Mach3 folder, it is the screen design programme and is used for making new screens or altering standard ones.

Hi Hood, no screen4.exe in my mach3folder ; what  could be the reason ?  is it an extra download or  upgrade?

It usually comes with Mach I think,  but maybe you are using an older version. You can download it separately from the downloads page(tab at top of forum) and just put it in your Mach3 folder. You can also download the older one (screen designer) if you wish but I think Screen4 is more versatile and easier to use.
