Hi ya all

i was wondering if anyone has come across this problem with doing some text engraving as its driving me nuts and unable to sort it out

right the problem am getting is when i import the text / drawing from dxf file (using autocad lt 2002) and theres text within the drawing

first it reduces the scale of the text down which is ok to fix + it moves the text about which again is fine but the main bit is i want a single line text for the machine to control the depth of the text and not to go outside bascily want a single line text so its easy to engrave

Have you tried saving it as an older version of AutoCAD. For most of us, release 12 seems to work the best. Later versions don't always import correctly.
