Mach3 estop trigger's spindle start
« on: January 17, 2024, 06:47:03 AM »
Hello,

I have set my spindle to be controlled (on/off) via Output #1 which is active low. When I push the button to switch on the spindle it starts and when I press it again to stop it stops. But when I press the e stop button the spindle starts spinning! It looks like that mach3 is configured to set all outputs low when the estop is pressed which means for my spindle begin spinning.

What is set wrongly?

Hello, I think you should verify your e-stop configuration. In the same "Ports and Pins" menu, select the "Input Signals" tab. Verify that your e-stop button is correctly configured as an input signal and assigned to the appropriate pin on your breakout board.

Do you believe that the e-stop is configured to a same pin with another function or if e-stop is not configured you may face such issues?
