Custom Screen Set Transfer
« on: January 14, 2024, 01:45:52 AM »
Hello,
I adapted and converted an original screen to my machine on the desktop PC in the office, including some new images. How do I get this screen set onto my PC that is attached to the machine? I tried to insert the screen set file, but Mach4 crashes when loading the screen.
Thank you, greetings René

Just to make sure i understand.
You start M4 then go to View and Load Screen.
At that point it crashes?

Then i would think one of 2 things.

Bad code in your custom screen
or
different versions of the software between the desktop and the operating computer.

If it is neither of those your guess is as good as mine.

there are some items that don't port over in the screen set itself.. did you change anything else besides the objects on the screen?  :o
any semblance of information posted to anything remotely  close to accuracy is merely coincidence. Use at you own discretion.. or play the lottery.. same odds

Hello,
Thanks for the help, the screen is now ready and it works, I have no idea why it works now, I think the file I used was damaged.
Thanks
Greetings René
