Hello!

I have a Windows XP desktop and Mach3 Turn installed. Trying to set it up I get the message: "some usb device make the usb detected program doesn't work well". The computer was used a few years ago but since I moved it was unused until today.
I tried all kind of things like removing mouse, keyboard etc but still getting that message. I tried plugging in the Mach3 cable into different USB ports, in the back or in the front but I still get the message.
What could it be? What am I doing wrong, can someone please help me?
Thanks a lot.

What is the CNC board (make & model) connected to your USB cable ?

I am so sorry I did not know that this was a pirated copy. This is an existing machine so I tried to make it work like that. But maybe you can tell me which one I need to replace this?
Sorry for the inconvience and hope you can still help me to make it work?
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately the solution is not ‘cheap’.
Because of the lack of manufacturer’s support, compatibility and reliability issues the Chinese motion controllers should be avoided in favour of those of EU or USA manufacture.
The Gecko G540 is an excellent machine controller and the Warp9 ESS an excellent external motion controller. They both have manufacturer’s support and can be used with Mach4 should you choose to upgrade at some future date.
I now use the CNC Drive, AXBB-E and UC400ETH motion controllers on my machines (Ethernet connection performs better than USB) but everybody will have their own preferences.

Perhaps, before spending money, you could post your original question on the CNC Zone forum – there may be someone there who could help resolve your error message issue.

Hope this helps,
