Please help. I am just about to return to the ever working Mach3. Here is the problem:
I make my drawings with Fusion 360 and the G-code with V-carve pro 6.5
I have drawn a simple square of 100 x 100 mm. Sharp corners. The router is Ø 2mm.
When i cut with Mach3 i get corners with a radius of 1mm.
Making the same cut with Mach4, the corners have an radius of about 7mm.

This is constant velocity VS exact stop.
Check the GCODE programming manual for the difference.

There is also a CV tuning wizard for advanced users. Located under wizards, a brief description is given before the wizard starts.

For a lot of things, just changing to exact stop will get you the results you desire. (non rounded corners)

I would try that first, in the event that doesn't work I would try the wizard.

Also within the FileOps tab in the MACH4 screen, you have a HELP DOCS button which will bring you to all the MACH manuals. This includes the GCODE manuals for your machine type.

the Cv in mach 4 (i dont know mach 3 so cant compare ,but can compare all other cnc controler on market like Synteck taiwan or weihong china
in mach the Cv its real big problem
cant do almost nothig
if you run small segment you need run speed soo so slow...
if you run normal size you need every time play with the cv and never can get it well
i not cry for nothing ,i tell this point more the 4 years ,exact stop ,velocity stop,Cv...all this help nothing
i think the old cv with the 2 sliders was more usful not sure
but now corners in much not manage at all,
i did it in my application i add "G4 P..
in every corner its important to me
i realy not unbderstand how can use with the xisst solution to corners
