Probe Problem after controller change
« on: September 02, 2023, 05:02:34 AM »
Good day to you all,

I use Mach3 with Manfred Schmidt's screen and until recently I had a UC100 controller (USB to parallel). Since the controller was now defective, I have now bought a UC400 (ETH to parallel). Now I have the problem that when I use the tool length sensor and the contact closes, the following error appears: "Probe ignore, activated at call for probe" appears, and "Probe" also flashes in the small window.
Otherwise everything seems to be working, can anyone help with this?

Thank you very much,
Wolfgang

Hello Graham,

we tested it again today, with the defective UC100 everything works fine, except that the UC100 has a defect and disconnects after some time.
With the same configuration but with the UC400 everything works except for the tool length sensor, as soon as it is pressed the error message: "Probe ignore, activated at call for probe" appears.
According to the UC100 and UC400 In/Out monitor, everything looks fine, pin 15 lights up, but when I press the sensor on the UC100, the yellow light goes out and lights up again immediately, on the UC400 the light goes out, see attachment.
