MPG encoder question
« on: January 10, 2023, 04:00:23 AM »
Hello,

I have RNR USB controller. I'm building diy MPG pendant for my diy cnc lathe, but cant get mpg working. Looking at RNR plugin configurator, I can see MPG A/B blink/response on knob rotation. But I cant get it working in mach3. I've checked with arduino and encoder work fine.
Encoder part num is zss800-001-100B-5E, not 5L as mostly seen in tutorials. Can this be a problem? As I know, E stands for potential (voltage) increment, while L is differencial increment. Is it possible to use 5E with mach3?
