I did experiments only with simulator as motion controller.
And find that 0.001 step is usable and has error 0.001 on big increments, with 0.01 step on big increments some times error is 0.02.
Anyway counter calculate 1 or 2 steps more or less sometimes, so will move motor on 1-2 microsteps more or  less, so accuracy  will be +-0.02mm in my case.

Best Wishes.

Hi,
understood. What are you planning for a motion control board?

Hello to ALL.
Looks like latest 5000 version has a PROBLEM with incremental jog step.
For example:
Button jog in incremental mode.
If I set step 0.01 and click  X+ button ones in second - I see increment value in the X DRO every 0.01 step
If I click few click in the second - I see unpredictable value :(

4964 version works much much better!!

This may be a crazy question, but is the source code for this plugin available anywhere? I can try to help fix it.

Thanks

Probe Z is not functional for me - nor any macros except Machine Enable as Macro 10 with MPG set to #1.  Anyone else experienced this?

more info - I put the plugin in version 4162 as when I update Mach4 I lose Modbus functionality for my spindle (4809 is the oldest version I tested and no Modbus spindle function via the Bill Caldwell installation method).  In version 4162 I can control X/Y/Z and step/cont from the pendant.  Just no luck with Probe Z - my main want from the pendant to minimize bouncing back to the control computer.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
