I would like to reduce some of the issues (fans, keyboard and mouse, etc) of maintaining a regular PC to run Mach4 in a dusty environment.

Would like to know of possibility to run on a Surface or other windows tablet.  This custom machine does no 3D or really anything fancy.

Also was wondering about creating a much simplified user interface providing just the necessary components and possibly a different user interface to choose the GCode to run by entering parameters instead of choosing from a file list.

I want to use Mach4 to do all of the heavy lifting and smarts, but just a different front end.  Is this possible or insane?
