Z won't raise above 2"
« on: February 16, 2022, 02:46:35 PM »
Hi, I'm just getting Mach4 set up on my older 4896Pro.  It doesn't have Z sensors, so I went into ESS Config > Homing and turned off the Z and reset the X & Y to priority one.  It Homes XY flawlessly.  But now the Z won't jog more than 2" high.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi,
what software are using, Mach3 or Mach4? I ask because that sounds like 'SafeZ' which is a feature and setting of Mach3 bit does not have a direct equivalent in Mach4.

Hi,
well the only thing I can think of is SoftLimits. Are they active?
