Hey, I'm new here. I'm a hobby CNC guy - have a fairly big router/ mill which is nice and solidly custom built, with servos etc.  I had absolutely no CAD/ CAM/ CNC experience before getting it about 7 years ago, and I bought it expressly for the purpose of cutting moulds for making composite high performance RC sailplanes (dynamic soaring in particular). I've done a fair bit of that but of course have found the machine useful for other fun stuff like making wood signs etc. I used Mach3 for quite a while, then switched to UCCNC, and couldn't get happy with it so switched to Mach4. It's been great - glad I made the change. At the moment with this forum I'd like to work out 1) whether I should do an update of Mach4 or leave it as-is, and 2) why my "Remember Position" macro won't work. It won't "Return to Position" always saying it's out of safe limits. Cheers!
