MACH 4 START UP SCREEN -- PROBLEM
« on: September 14, 2021, 01:29:10 PM »
Running MACH 4 V2 build 4612
Running ESS PLUGIN 275

When I start my CNC6040 profile, I get a screen that looks like
"STARTUP SCREEN.JPG"

I know what  NAN, NIL means but I don't unstand how this can happen.
I never seen anything like that using MACH 3 for the past 7 or 8 years
( must add that MACH 3 served ny purposes with virtually no problems. )

Anyone have clue about this ?

Mach 4 is essentially ueless to me at this point.

Hi,
I've used an ESS and Mach4 for seven years without seeing that.

Is this a new installation?

If so I suspect that the ESS is not reporting its position back to Mach, and as Mach populates the DROs from the
ESS data that's why you are seeing those faults.

Can you Enable/Disable Mach4 from your Estop button? This would establish that the Estop is hooked to the BoB ,the BoB is hooked
to the ESS, and most importantly if the ESS can send packets of data to the PC.

Check your fixture table, you might need to delete it and allow mach to rebuild it on next startup.
