CNC Connexion problem
« on: July 22, 2021, 03:55:25 AM »
Hello,

Im very beginner with CNC machine.
I bought a TEN-HIGH CNC machine on amazon (6090 2200W)
I got my design made on Fusion360, i export it as a .NC Gcode, i import the Gcode into Mach4.

My CNC machine is completely connected :

- Computer USB (win10) to CNC controller
- CNC controller's parallel port cable to CNC machine
- CNC controller's Spindle cable to CNC machine

And when i open Mach4 and import the Gcode i can see my design in the preview.
But its like no machine connected... nothing move there :'(

Someone can help please ?

You need a suitable Motion Controller (together with it's Mach4 plugin) connected between your Computer and your CNC controller.  https://www.machsupport.com/shop/mach4-hobby/

have you installed drivers for the usb box in windows
have you put the correct plugin in the mach4 directory
have you then selected that plugin in the mach4 config
have you then configured the plugin in the plugin

one big question is your box/control control compatible with mach 4 or is it a manufacture program to control the unit
bottom line is it because you want to try mach4

note a reboot windows  is recommended between each step ( by me )

None of this!

Im here to know where is this driver..
i got nothing coming with the CNC machine!

I installed mach 4 cause its the latest… as a beginner i was thinking why begin with the old version… better learn directly with the latest.

Could you please post a couple of pictures of the inside of your controller box particularly the board with the USB socket.
We may be able to identify the board and perhaps a Mach3 plugin may be available (it is unlikely that a Mach4 plugin exists).
