UC100 not found.....check connections
« on: March 14, 2021, 12:06:09 PM »
Blew a fuse somehow yesterday and after replacing it when opening Mach4,  I get the above message. Both lights are lit on the adapter so it is supposedly communicating with the computer. After going into the Config and Diagnostic tabs the message is "No UC100 connected!" at the bottom of each sub-page. I have checked, rechecked all connections. Tried different USB ports. Rebooted computer. Went to the Device Manager on my computer and don't see the UC100 listed anywhere. Any help or instruction would be appreciated.

Yes. Everything looks as though it should work, but when I open Mach 4 it says "UC100 not found". The blue/green lights are all on, but cannot enable it. Had an electrician friend stop by and verify I don't have a "ground loop" as was suspected by Arturo from CNC4PC.
The new UC100 should be here by tomorrow, so hopefully it is just a bad unit.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for trying to help.

Not sure what you're referring to but this one is legitimately purchased from CNC4PC in Florida. Not a Chinese copy.

Replaced the UC100 motion controller and everything is working once again. Not sure why it went bad, or if I did something to cause this, but for now, it works with a new UC100. Thanks for trying to help.
