CSMIO IP-M Drivers alarm wiring

Hi to all and thanks for your help  ;)

I finally finished wiring all, motors, limits, probe, drivers and tested and all working good.

I only need wire the alarm of the closed loop hybrid drivers and i don't understand how to connect correctly to csmio input.

The manual of the driver say:
ALM+ When over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage or position error alarm, the alarm signal is valid (output optocoupler is on). ALM+ is connected to the pull-up resistor to the positive terminal of the output power supply. Themaximumdrivecurrentis50mA.

ALM-   ALM- is connected to the negative terminal of the output power supply.

With this i understand the ALM- go to Digital Input - (Pin 25/Input 11 in my case of csmio). And the ALM+ go to Pin 12/input 11+ of csmio and to 24v+ power supply with a resistor in middle (i don't know what resistor go in middle with 24v power supply if this is correct).

anything is possible, just try to do it.

the principle is the same.

Thanks for your share, i understand to use it like a relay and + and - aren't important, no?

In this case i can use it in cascade? put all alarms in serial for use it in one pin and less cables? (i attach a simple image of serial wiring).

I really appreciate your help :)  :)

You can not cascade alarm outputs as per your drawing as your alarm input will only be active when ALL three alarm sources are active.
Consider output transistors as switches. For alarm input to be activated, all three "switches" has to be "closed". Either opened switch will render alarm inoperative.

I understand, this can only work with normally closed relays.

Ok i go to wire each individually but in same pins of csmio.

I tried to connect like this schematic (https://en.cs-lab.eu/csmioip-m-vs-wabeco-fvd-varicon/) and the input 11 al time are activated, when the motor it's in normal state and in fault state  the same.

I wired all like the schematic i doesn't make any change (i doesn't put resistor or something).

Any idea what problem can have?

Sorry all work now if one servo fail the csmio block all movements!!

I supposed ALM+ and ALM- works like relay and aren't important if i enter the 24v+ in ALM+ or - and i see i put in the alm- the +24v (i doesn't undestand how this "relay" work but work  :-[ ).

I really apreciate your help, i think i finished all wiring job and in next days i go to my little workshop for connect all in the cnc.
Now i use all in the table with only one stepper for test, because in the workshop it's to cold now jejeje (it's a little garden shed for not disturb in the house with the noise of the cnc).

If anyone want to see some of my 3D reliefs in wood i have a little channel in youtube for share my feeds, speeds, fails...  In the next month maybe start to post new videos with the new VFD spindle (i pass from kress fme-1 cheap router to a 1.1kw VFD spindle, from arduino with GRBL to mach3 with csmio and all nema24 motors to closed loop hybrid).
