Newbie Woes

I have a couple of problems and I don't know if it's my fault or not.  I am new to the mach3 software and have spent the last week getting it set up and learning to navigate the software.  My machine is using servo motors and the Galil 18x2 card and drives for 3 axis.  I had been using the camsoft program for the last few years.  The first problem I have is the y axis is inverted.  I tried reversing the axis in the homing/limits window, but it doesn't change anything.
Also, I can't slow jog.  I can shift jog, but when I open the jog tab and change the slow jog rate to say 50%, it doesn't slow jog.  It won't jog at all without the shift key pressed.
And now, it won't run Gcode.  I don't think I changed anything either to make that not work.  The only thing I did was open the Keyfinder and plug in a gamepad to see if that would let me jog slow.  But, alas, I'm too dumb to make it work.  I'm wondering if I just need to reinstall the software from scratch and start over.  Would having the camsoft software still installed on the same computer cause these kinds of problems?  I'm still in the trial stage so I haven't wanted to uninstall that stuff yet.  But I do really like may of the features in this software.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Lieth,
The plugin is old and needs an update.. I have hardware on the way to test and update the code. I should have the rest of the parts next week. At this time please use your old software and I will post as soon as I have the galil code updated.

You need to tell me where in the heck did all the Galil users come from !

Thanks
Brian

Brian,
I understand about the galil plugin.  I was under the assumption that it was working already.  The card I have is not a new card, so I thought it should work with the plugin I downloaded from the website here.  We have been using this card (pci) from Galil for about 3 years now.  We originally bought the system to retrofit our machines from Camsoft.  Which, camsoft could have been a really great deal, because what you can do with their software is virtually limitless.  Using the Galil card you can control just about anything with nearly as many I/O's as you can think of.  But their software is buggy it seems.  I am happy with the Galil stuff, but not so much with Camsoft.  Camsoft sold the Galil cards with their software as a package.  So, I tried to install your software since I saw the Galil plugin.  It worked for a while but it has a few bugs that I don't know if they are my fault or the software.  I also ordered the Gecko drives to try them out as well.  I haven't set them up yet but I am working on getting it figured out.

What I intend to do with this software is find out which setup works best with the most options.  If everything works like we think it will, we want to start distributing complete systems, specifically for use in the automotive racing/rebuilding industry.  If you look at our website, www.tnsmachines.com, you can see that we have been manufacturing automotive specific equipment for several years.  We want to bring cnc to this market in a user friendly/cost effective way.  So, understanding what we want to do, we want the best system we can get, if it's using the Galil cards or the gecko drives etc.  We do have a few machines in our shop that we use for manufacturing that we would like to upgrade the software to so that we can learn it inside out.  Any help you can offer us will be great.  Thanks!
