Printing multi line signs
« on: October 02, 2020, 12:30:25 PM »
I would like to cut multi line signs. Can I use the Load Wizards...Write function to do this?  for instance. If I want to cut
"IT was
a dark and
Stormy night":
load all three line and cut it in one set of G-codes, can I do it from the "Load Wizard.....Write" function? Or do I have to do it one line at a time?

The Wrie wizard was only intended to handle one line at a time.

A better solution would be to use the free software F-Engrave - V1.73 can be downloaded from here;  http://scorchworks.com/Fengrave/fengrave.html

Thank you. I was able to download the site, but there are no fonts included so I am not able to use it. Do you have a suggestion?

If you read the F-Engrave instructions / manual it will tell you how to download any of the Windows or other fonts that you choose.

(I have been using F-Engrave for many years now to create the Gcode for a wide diversity of engraving applications ranging from text engraving less than 0.5mm high to V-Carving teak signs more that 2 metres long).
