Looking for Mach 3 consultant/support
« on: September 30, 2020, 07:34:33 PM »
hello, i purchased a 3 axis cnc router that runs on mach 3. the unit works but the oem has built in macros that are bothersome. we are experienced in programming and gcode, we have a cnc machine shop. looking for a consultant that can remotely configure mach 3 for our router. we need to remove some macros. We need the support to be done remotely (we are in Canada) and can pay by credit card or paypal. You need to be quite experienced with configuring mach 3. this has to be done during the day, we are in eastern standard time. Im on a very tight schedule for this and need to get this done asap.

The probing macro built in to the program doesnt agjust the tool length, instead it changed the Z dimension in the G54. This is super counter productive as we cant adjust tool height (H variable in NC code). I want the router to work like any other cnc machine.
1- turn on router, ref all homes.
2- load the tools and probe tools using H values
3- G54 Z to be top of spoilboard.

Presently the machine probes the tool on ebery tool change...and we cant adjust tool heights.

If interested please contact me at info@dynatherm.ca

Unless others know what OEM screen you are using, it might be hard to help.
If however your are using the STD screen e.g. 1024
Go to Operator | edit VB Script editor |
and open M6start.m1s
copy the code and paste on this forum
Other should be able to probably help you edit the file yourself.
It is NOT so hard..
