Problem with hooking up touchplate
« on: September 03, 2020, 06:05:34 PM »
Hope you can help me out, my friend has a g540 board and I tried to setup the touch plate exactly like in the videos, hooked up to pin 15 which was available and done the rest with the script etc.The problem is the light is on all the time, even with the ground not connected, do you think something is grounding it out somehow in the control box? I even redid it 5 times. I removed the wire from pin 15, so somebody can look at board.

The Jumper above pin 15 and 5V in the first picture may need to be set to pull-up, i.e. jumper pin 2 to 3

Everything is working fine now. I had to pull up the jumper on 2 and 3.
