Mach4 probe macro
« on: September 02, 2020, 07:31:46 AM »
Good day

I am hoping you can assist me....

I have a probe macro that is doing the following:

Probe for any tool and it writes the distance moved from G54 Z0 to probe initiation into the ToolTable

Probe the same tool again and it measures the movement against the ToolTable offset, resulting in a 0

Probe 3rd time and the ToolTable again measures from G54 Z0

I am using a G31 command in the macro

Do you know of any way to make sure the measurement is always from the Z0?

I am attaching the macro, if that helps?

I did get the macro off of the forum a while ago, I think it was Chaoticone?
