Laptops are not the best to run Mach on... Some work and some don't... Anyone have laptops that run out there?

I'm running on a HP N3310 500MHZ laptop with WinXP. Has 196meg of mem, 4.3G hard drive & Wifi. Have many services disabled. Seems to drive Mach3 just fine

I just installed Mach3 on a new HP nc6120 running Windows XP Professional. After a hint from Art that I should try the optimisation guide I got things running. I selected the HP nc6120 because it is one of the only new notebooks on the market that still has a parallel port. Everything else seems to be going USB.
Hope this helps,
Ed

I am running Mach3 on a "Toshiba satellite" laptop 1.7Gh processor, 512Mb RAM, Windows XP, using single parallel port output/input via a CNC4PC parallel breakout board.
No Antivirus software running.
Seems OK so far.

Is anti virus software an issue? I would imagine it could be a problem.
