Offset issue LCAM - How to question
« on: September 28, 2007, 04:44:28 PM »
So I create a new project in LCAM, and I create TEXT - a letter "A"

I I can select the chain and select offset and offset the outside of the "A" to compensate for my 1/8" bit.  However, the inside (triangle part) of the letter seems to be part of the entire chain - how do I select it seperately so I can do an outside offset for the inner part?

Hope that makes sense.

Greetings buckey29. What you will want to do is this: Offset the outside of the letter to the outside. Sometimes LazyCAM calls this outside sometimes, inside. Then offset the inside part of the letter to the inside. Again... you'll have to go by what looks right. Then delete the original chain. If both inside and outside are part of one chain (the should not be unless they are connected), you'll have to Autoclean (under the tools pulldown). Hope this helps.
