Mach3 Estop while jogging problem
« on: July 03, 2020, 05:30:29 PM »
Hi everyone,
Today I have noticed a problem with mach 3 software. Then I press and hold jog button and then I force motor driver to send alarm signal (imitate crash), mach software is displaying estop message "limit switch triggered! Estop!" on the screen but axis is still running (DRO is also showing axis continuous movement). The motor which I forced to stop has stopped because of error on the driver, but the slave axis is still running. The only way to stop axis move is to cut power supply or press overridelimits and then press reset. But this is not acceptable if I don't want to damage my machine.  This is a big problem if you have slave axis on one gantry and only one of them is stopped.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
