lazycam pro
« on: September 24, 2007, 10:25:53 AM »
Hi Everyone,
I,m using turbocad version 4 (free download ) and find that lazycam pro does not seem to undrstand what an elipse is. I save my files as DXF and everything shows except the elipses. Tried saving as HPGL and all was well but scale was nuts. It started with a move about 580 mm and the whole job is about 120 mm. Any help much appreciated
Les

Hi Brian, I'll give it a bash and see if it works. It could be the Turbocad save as DXF that's causing the problem so I'll try another cad package to see if it cures it.
Many thanks
Les

Les - I have Turbo Cad version 6. I have had it for a few years. I have not had much success with Lazy Cam either. particularly if I drew and posted a three dimensional drawing. There just seemed to be two much information for Lazy Cam to interpret. A two dimensional one worked - but it couldn't tell the inside from the outside.

You are not alone !!
Not me driving the engine - I'm better looking.

Lcam is not  3D cam package... We only were looking at it as an importer for 2D DXF's.
