Is there a way to make an OEM DRO read-only?
« on: May 02, 2020, 05:54:02 AM »
I would like to make it impossible for the user to change some OEM DROs, and only update them from scripts.  Any way to do this?

Or, alternatively is there a mechanism to get a notification when a DRO is modified by the user so that other dros can be suitable updated?

Thanks

put a transparent button with no code over the dro.
anything is possible, just try to do it.
if you find some mistakes, in my bad bavarian english, they are yours.

Hi CoreyCoop

Try to change levels (perhaps the DRO is on top of the image button).

I have looked, and can't figure out how to change levels!  One would think there would be a Z-order, like "move Back" or whatever.  How is this done?

i assume you are using MachScreen from Klaus

if you left click on the dro you get a small window with all the controls witch are located at this place.
now select the transparent button, witch is normaly at the  bottom of the list, hold left mouse button
down and shift the selected line upwards in the list. it ust be higher as the dro.

Hi

TPS has already pointed out how to change levels. Please make sure the second icon from the right of the toolbar shows "M", if shows "1" click at it to toggle.

Yes, I poked around and finally figured it out, I hadn't used the multiple selection up until now.  I then was embarrassed to find the "Swap Layer" under the Edit menu.
  Thanks!
