If you look at the attached screenshot, you will see a lathe toolpath that came out of Fusion 360. Itis two operations; a roughing operation (to a taper) and then a finishing operation to take the taper down to final size.

Notice the toolpath lines that run into the centre of the part and out again at about a 60 degree angle?

There is nothing in the GCode that specifies those movements and when run, the program never traces those paths. They are ghosts. Scary ghosts, because it looks like an imminent crash that never happens.
