I am having a weird problem that doesnt happen all the time. I will zero the machine on the workpiece and start the program and it will just slam into the workpiece real hard. It already bent a vbit, I can do the same thing with the same file and it work as it's supposed to. Any guidance is appreciated.

Please share a screenshot of your HiCON Status window while the controller is connected. I need to know the firmware version, controller name and Mach4 version before advising on the issue.

If it happens sometimes then it could be due to electrical noise. Connect one of the J16 GND pins to Earth. We will also be uploading 4.17 firmware version on our website you can update it once it is available.
