I have been using mach 4 for 2 months now. It has worked fine until this week. Now my z zero will change when I hit cycle start.
I always home my machine as soon as I turn it on. Then I load a program, then use my auto touch plate and set zero. It sets it at 1.9994. Now it has randomly been setting it as -5. Something. So I thought it had a problem. I started setting zero manually but now when I hit cycle start, it will sometimes change the z zero to the -5 and give me a soft limit error.
The only changes that I have made to mach 4 are adjusting the steps per unit, velocity and acceleration.
I have checked my travel in all directions and it travels the correct distance in every direction.
Watch the video and let me know what you think the fix is.
