Show first line of G-Code
« on: August 30, 2019, 03:17:49 PM »
Hi,
I am working on creating a custom screen set for myself. I would like a text line to show the first line of code from my g-code.
Basically my first line of code is the "name" of the saved tool path. I would like a text line to always show the name of the running toolpath.
Can some one help me with a script or code for this?
Thank You

if you are talking about Mach3, a Label with Content File will Show you the filename of loaded program.
i do not know about a possibilty to Show only the first line of gcode, except your create a VBScript witch is
used every time you load a new file, this will only work with a button on Screen, not with Standard menue load file.
anything is possible, just try to do it.
if you find some mistakes, in my bad bavarian english, they are yours.

Thank You. I'll keep trying. If I figure it out I'll post it.
