Mach3 Video requirements
« on: July 14, 2019, 08:47:36 PM »
I am new to Mach3, just installing it on a Bridgeport CNC knee mill retrofit. I believe that I read somewhere that Mach3's user interface screen displays best on either a 1)16 x 9 display OR  a 2) 4x3 display but I cannot find the information anywhere in the tutorials I have found. None of them discuss this. I plan to use a touchscreen monitor (maybe 14-16")  attached to a Dell Inspiron running Windows 10 Pro. The Inspiron is an all-in-one, but it is too heavy to hang off the side of the machine on a swing arm. Any vibration would have it bouncing up and down like it was on a pogo stick. A mid-size  monitor would make more sense, but I need to know if I need a 16x9 or 4x3, or if it doesn't matter. I have seen a lot of pictures on Mach3 Screens and they appear to be on 16x9 monitors. Can anyone set me straight? Thanks

Go to \Config\General Config\Screen Control\and tick: Hi-Res Screens and Auto Screen Enlarge.
I have run with 16:9 and 4:3 successfully
