parameters wont compile?
« on: May 29, 2019, 04:13:44 PM »
Hello All,
can someone please help me.
I am attaching a piece of code which wont compile-
Mach 3 doesnt like the parameters in the subroutine.
I have tried various ways of expressing the code but no luck
(I am machining plastic therefore I am working in reverse
with the tool upside down this way it is easier to control the swarf
Just blow it down and out of the way. and machine from the
chuck towards the tailstock also easier swarf control)

thank you very much !!

Am i right in seeing that it is the square brackets that I have to use?

regarding the groove tool - I am using a groove tool to do the whole job.
the groove tool i am using will cut left, right and front. this is ok with plastic
because it plastic material is soft so there is little sideways pressure required,
certainly not enough to bend the shaft of the groove tool.
many thanks and wishing you many happy hours of making chips
regards fred
