My lifespan is past the half-way mark but the advancements in technology just amaze me and I would really like to see what happens over the next 50 years.

 ...... if we don't self-destruct first.  :o  ;D
Most amazing to me is how far we've come in such a relatively short time.
Us getting a glimpse of 50 years in the future would be cool.
Could you imagine someone from 1900 getting a look at today ?

I think the self-destruct is just a matter of time.  :'(

I have just finished (well almost finished) transferring my Star Trek collection to NAS and started watching the Voyager series again.

Back in 1995 they showed theā€¦ Tablet, Laptop, Flat Screen, Bluetooth equivalent and Computer voice communication (Alexa) for personal Music, environmental control, etc. and many more technological advancements which nowadays we take for granted.

I wonder, did the Star Trek writers foresee the future or did our inventors watch Star Trek ? ???

My neighbour's young daughter has just told me that Dogs can't use an MRI scanner but Catscan.  :)
