Mach3 running on 64bit windows 10
« on: April 09, 2019, 01:38:38 PM »
Hi all, I am fairly new with this Mach 3 software so I would really appreciate any assistance at all.
So I have just installed the Mach3 software on my x64 windows 10 OS laptop. Every time I try to run one of the sample G-code programmes, only a few lines of the code are executed then the system stops. Not sure why it does this. I have tried also the reinstallation at no avail.

Any one who might shed some light Please!!!!

Click on [TAB] key to bring out the jog screen.

You need to use arrow keys to jog spindle head axis X and Y  and Z to where your material zero is and then zero X Y and Z DROs (digital read outs). Z=0 is when tool just touch the surface of the material.
(Later, you can set up the auto z zero tool probe)
Then click on [reg. Toolpath] and then [cycle start].

If you are running the DEMO version of MACH3, you are limited to 500 lines of Gcode.
So download the many sample gcodes that are less than 500 lines from this forum to cut/engrave something.
