wells index CNC 700 summit dana control
« on: August 16, 2007, 10:29:20 PM »
I have had this wells index mill for about 3-years , the only way I have been operating it is by jogging, programming does not work..  After having success with Mach3 on my
4x8 router I am now ready to get this mill operating on Mach3 as well.  The machine responds very well to the jog commands ,,,,Here's what I want to do,, Use existing drives
& steppers  ,I need a schematic so I can find the pulse input & dir  pulse.  (wells index CNC 700 summit dana control)  or if anyone has any other comments or suggestions
I would appreciate it .............thanx    signguy..

You can get NEW drives for only 114 a drive and you will be able to get new drives if you ever have a problem... I think the best thing you can do is take out the old drives and have something you can work with :)  in the end it will be the best 350.00 that you have spent on your project!

Just what I have found from trying to do stuff like that in the past :(
