I thought I should update this post for anyone who is losing steps. Because lets face it - nobody likes losing steps, the sound is like hurting kittens. Especially when you are way way down the end of your table and to re-home the gantry is to go ALL THE WAY BACK again. ha

I upgraded my power supply to a 60vdc (semi adjustable) 1000w Chinese one for I think $100. All my drivers faulted out - they really dont like the higher voltage. So when I popped it down to 50vdc they stopped faulting. And I have a large improvement in the performance of my motors.

Off memory my drivers are DM542MA.

So thanks Craig, and I think Gerry as well had an input.
