Trying to turn
« on: August 14, 2007, 03:31:32 PM »
Hi,  I have evidently got something set wrong some where.  I loaded the example Outside Profile in LazyCam, went through the steps,  and got the result I would expect.  However when I loaded the .tap file into Mach 3 It was a lot different.  It had balls on the ends.  Let me try to attach a picture. Thanks

Yeap you have what we Mach Lathe users call "Crop Circles", (cause aliens made them.....)
Make sure that your using both Incremental IJ in Mach under general config and the same in your Cam
If you still get circles then you may have to modify the post of your CAM to reverse G02/03, or, interpreate
arcs as lines.......

Thanks, Scott
I went into the .tap file and replaced G03 with G02 and had much better results. I appreciate your help.
