Hood,
Watched the mill, still does not answer my question,
Sticker on my machine says

all port 1

  step      dir
x  3          6
z  16         17

enable 4
enable 8

actve low  x

What do I put in for my settings?
What is enable 4 or enable 8,what settings are they?
Watched the mll tutorials, not the same as I'm doing.
Do you know the answers? Not to be an ass but you never seem to answer my questions
you just seem to pass me along.

thanks

Todd

OK it seems straightforward enough, what I think the sticker is saying is
X axis Step is set to pin 3 and direction to pin 6
Z Axis Stepp is pin 16 and Direction is 17
One drives enable to  pin 4 and the other to pin 8
Not sure what the active low is meaning , ie whether it means all should be active High or whether it is just the X that is set to active low, probably the former.

You will find the Enables in the outputs page of Ports and Pins, set Enable 1 to port 1 pin 4  and Enable 2 to Port1 pin 8.

Mach uses pin 17 (usually) for the charge pump so you will need to make sure you dont have it enabled in ports and pins, outputs or it will screw with your z axis.
