CNC Router VFD spindle help.
« on: November 07, 2018, 07:17:26 AM »
I am using Mach 3 with a Benchtop Pro CNC Router. I am wondering if there is any way I can have Mach 3 execute following commands while spooling up the spindle to 22000RPM. I am loosing 8 seconds in cycle time since the program waits for the spindle to get up to 22k RPM before it moves to next line. Any help is much appreciated!

Config >Ports and Pins > Spindle tab. There are settings for delays there.

Thank you so much! My Spindle delay was set to 5 seconds from the factory. Is it safe to set it to 0s delay or 1s is a standard?

That depends on how fast your spindle gets up to speed.
