Hi a3dcreator,

Thanks for responding – unfortunately I have had to replace the X screw on my 10x54 Knee Mill because of damage. One of the guys in the shop lost it and broke the yoke on the X and Y axes. So the upgrade project is on a temporary hold until I get the new C3 X screw.  Looks like another week or so. When I am back on the project I will post on the string. Also thanks for the info on the linear encoders; I will be purchasing them next week so your timing is perfect.
