Mach3 add on help

I just purchased the mach3 add-ons. I tried to open the .dat file but it says I need to go to control panel and create an association for it. I have no idea what to do. I know how to go to the file folder options in the control panel, but after that I am lost. I do not have mach3 installed on this computer so I need to save it and burn it to a cd and then load it to my computer that runs my mill.

Please help!!

I think I chose the wrong software and people to deal with. I tried the newfangled website and cant get on. I can't even send them an email.  There's no way to call either. I guess I am out 50 bucks.

Anyone know how I can contact them?

I'm a bit confused on what you are trying to do but so far as I know Mach needs to be loaded for the Wizards to be functional since I believe that they are called directly from Mach.  Are you trying to run the Wizards as a separate program?

No. I have this computer we use in the house for the internet etc. I am using another computer to run mach3 on my mill in the shop. What I need to do is copy the wizlic to a cd and then load it on the computer running mach3. I send it to C:\mach, but nothing happens and I don't know what else to do.

I have sent several emails to newfangled solutions but I get no response other than them saying It should be working.

I am just very frustrated at this whole thing because there is no one to talk to in person and the response times waiting for an email are just too long and at this point I am sick of waiting.

OK forgive me if I am misunderstanding but have you opened Mach3 and clicked on the conversational button on the main screen? If yes what happens? If you look in C:\Mach3\Addons   do you see a folder called Newfangled?

Yes I have clicked on the conversational button but it says that I am not licensed for it.  I have looked in the c drive and don't recall seeing a folder called Newfangled. I'll go out and see. I also saved the addon license to a new cd, I'll see if it works and let you know.

One thought is when you transfer the wiz.dat to your computer from the CD it will be read only. Not sure if that would matter but just in case right click on it and choose properties then take the tick out of the read only box.
