Galil - from art
« on: July 22, 2007, 01:48:20 PM »
Hi Guys:

We just heard from Galil they have done a white paper on Mach3's usage with Galil controllers.
We will announce a location for it when they post it. Its a big step to get accepted to that level by Galil,
so hats off to Brian for all the hard work in the connection to Galil controllers..

Thanks,
Art

WSDK.. Pain in the rear...I will be looking for another g-board, anway.. Why can't you use the mach tunning method?

Thanks for posting the pdf................

The tuning they are talking about is the P I D. If you have a servo system you need to tune the motors with the drive then once that is done you can use Mach for Max velocity and acceleration setup. This is relevant whether you have a Galil, a G100 or just the parallel port.

HUM not much of a white paper. I would have thought they would have covered a lot more area than they did. (;-( TP
