How do I get my machine to work?
« on: July 20, 2007, 03:11:01 AM »
Can anyone tell me how to use Mach3 to control my CNC router? I have a 600x900mm bed, hand held DSP controller which has a USB slot for a memory stick to get files. I need to have rapid work flow to cut many jobs a day. Have a look at www.mooo.com.au to see our products. I think the control box connection to the hand held controller is a Female "Mini D50 “HPDB50” (SCSI-2/SCSI-3 external connector)". The controller itself connects with what I think is a "Centronics C50  sometimes referred to as CN50, Cent50  (External connector on many SCSI-1 and some SCSI-2 Controllers)". I use Adobe Illustrator to make a dxf of the finished product but need other software to firstly make the cutting path and then to make the gcode and then to control the machine. Any suggestions or comments would be most appreciated. Nick McLennan
