HELP MACH3
« on: May 01, 2018, 04:01:07 PM »
Good afternoon:
I want to know how to implement a turret for tool change in mach3 and how many servomotors I can control. Also if the codes G70, G71, G72, G73, G74, G75, G76 can be used.

Hi,
not hard to find out....this is off the Artsoft website:

Quote
Converts a standard PC to a fully featured, 6-axis CNC controller

Mach4 is likewise capable of six axes of coordinated motion with up to 4 slaves on each axis and six out-of-band
axes, again with up to four slave motor per axis. In all Mach4 allows the definition of 32 motors.

Once you have downloaded and installed Mach3 there is a button which reveals a very concise description of
the Gcodes available for use.

Hi,
I switched to Mach4 and am unfamiliar with lathe CNC ops. Manuals are fine things... if you read them.
