Setting error inputs
« on: March 17, 2018, 11:46:41 AM »
How do I set that driver error to stop all motors.
I use Mach3 and Pokeys57CNC.

Hi All,

OK, it's now resolved.
I have defined an OEM 1003 (stop) button, now I stop all if I have an error on an engine.
I use Closed Loop  Hybrid Servo Step Driver.

Greetings Fane.

Sorry for bringing this matter back up after this much time, but I would like to ask how you managed to connect the input OEM trigger#1 to the OEM 1003 button.

Looking forward to your response and thank you in advance.

Hello again Fane

Thank you for your response.
After I saw your initial post here, I activated the OEM Trig#1 in both the pokeys plugin and Mach3 but it didn't work.
Then I added in your configuration, a brain script for trig#1 which gave false alarms and finally I set in pokeys #1 for X, #2 for Y, and #3 for Z and I made 3 brains accordingly.

Again thank you a lot for help

Hello all. I know it is an old post but I can not find a description which enables me to implement it.
Pokeys57CNC plus Pokeys 256 Drivers plus MACH3

I have often a Driver error. Could never find the reason so far.
I want to stop the whole machine if it happens so it does not destroy my work every time.
In pokeys config I can set LED1920-24 as described above. As input setting i put eStop. It would work if I could reverse th Input but I can not find where.
The solution with the OEM Trigger#1 I do not understand. Ho should the brains look like?

Any help how to eStop or Stop the whole machine when a Driver has an error would be highly appreciated.

Best
Roman
