Spindle control from Mach3
« on: February 25, 2018, 03:56:50 AM »
Can someone tell me how to setup and control spindle speed from mach3. My motion control card is AKZ250 and spindle control driver is BLDC motor driver HX-WS400. At the moment i am using a potentiometer to control the spindle speed it works OK but I should like to control the spindle from mach3

The available documentation on the HX-WS400 is almost non-existent but it does appear to accept a 5Volt PWM for speed control. My best suggestion is that you set-up Mach3 to output a PWM on an output pin then try connecting this to your controller.
