You have to Browse to the file and select it. No drag and drop.
Or, you can open the file with your editor (notepad), select all, copy and paste in right in with your message.

That code will cut a square in a square.
6x6 OD, 4x4 ID .. provided it is a .25 dia cutter.
You should go through the axis calibration procedure (in the manual)
Verify that your tool info is entered correctly in Vectric sw
See that no scaling is in effect (G50 to cancel)
No "wear" is entered for the tool.
Lets go from there.

Hi Russ Thank you for your help, I went online to the tutorials for mach3 and found and repaired my problem

the problem was in motor tuning, they were both set to 2 and should have been set to 0

I reset them to 0 and retested and I got 6" outside square and 4" inside square PERFECT

But how could they have gotten off in the first place? I remember having ti do a force shut down

on my computer would that do it???

Many things are possible... SO many variables.
Just keep it in mind in case you run into it again.
Happy you found it !
