Soft limits
« on: December 14, 2017, 02:31:24 PM »
Hi,
My CNC doesn't have a lot of travel in Z so I have to be quite picky when placing the bit in the spindle.  I quite often get the warning that I will hit a soft limit, so readjust the bit and all is usually well, or I adjust the safe Z-clearance in my software.

I've (very) occasionally been unable to remove the warning and run the code anyway (with heavy supervision - hand hovering over the stop button!) and more often than not it's been fine.  This kind of stumps me!

Is there any way to tell which soft limit Mach is warning me about?

Thanks.
