Changing Screen Set
« on: November 30, 2017, 03:32:07 PM »
Hi

If I change my screen set to say, 2010, is it only the interface that changes or do I lose any macros (I have one in place for z-zero) or profile specific settings such as home positions, offsets etc. I understand the 2010 set has it’s own z-zero functionality so I’m assuming I’ll need to edit the 2010 macro to match my existing macro in the standard interface.

Many thanks.

During the 2010 installation, you won't lose any macros. The installer puts the 2010 macros in a separate folder, and the user needs to copy them into their profile folder.
The only macros that would overwrite yours would be the M6Start and M6End macros., You can choose to use the default macros if you'd like.
The screenset should have no affect on any of your other Mach3 settings, or Mach3's operation.
