Mach3 Licence

H,

I got licence download from Syil Ltd in UK  (Mach1lic(5).dat) , copied and pasted to Mach3 directory but when I open Mach3 its still tells me I got Demo version look on Help to see if my name was on the "About Mach3 Control) but its not what have I done wrong.

Hi John,

Make sure you have properly extracted the zip file that was sent to you. Copy the file  Mach1Lic.dat  into your Mach3 folder.

Make a copy, and rename it, removing the (5) from the name.

Hi, Tweakie

Can't seem to find a way to open this file its a .DAT FILE not a zip file I tried to open but says cant find program to open.

I have winrar installed.

That sorted it many thanks name appears at to of screen know.

Also got CNC machine running with a lot of help from Joeaverage (Craig), but know find "Y" axis gantry has too much movement when moving and drilling so revision 2 coming up LOL

Learn from your first mistakes.
